Providing commissioning services in the heart of the caribbean

Recently acquired by Belmond LTD, one of the world’s premier luxury hospitality brands, SESC were selected as the commissioning agent for the resort expansion and renovation project for the Cap Juluca Resort and Spa. Located on the scenic Maundays Bay, Anguilla, the fast-track project included the construction of three new villa buildings and two new casitas, as well as the renovation of the resorts 18 existing villas. All together 108 rooms were built or renovated. The new construction portion of the project also involved the addition of a beach-front infinity pool and decking, meeting and high-end event spaces, gate house, administration and staff buildings, luxury “disappearing” spa and fitness center, beach bar, cabanas, and ocean-side water sports facilities. There was also upgrades to the kitchen and world-renowned dining facilities, as well as improvements to the two-story arrival building that reflects the highest quality standards of the Belmond brand.
